The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder 2023” is the modern re-release of the popular, non-original colorway of the retro basketball shoe that debuted in 2006’s “Thunder & Lightning” collection. Released alongside the Jordan 4 “Lightning” in super limited quantities on Jordan Brand’s former Jumpman23.com website in the mid-aughts, the “Thunder” was brought back in 2012 before it received another highly anticipated release in 2023. As for its design, the black-and-yellow shoe features a black synthetic nubuck base with Tour Yellow detailing beneath the mesh on the sides and tongue. Yellow “wings” lace holders contrast the black upper. A white Jumpman appears on the heel and on the tongue. A visible Air unit in the heel puts the finishing touches on the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder”.

My son is a heavy guy and finding shoes that are supportive and the right width is challenging. He stands on his feet all day so it's important he have comfortable support, and according to him, these shoes do the job very nicely. I plan to buy him another pair when I can.

No laces of course, so these are not suitable for a trail hike, but they are light and comfortable and great for walking around town. This is my third pair.

I got these for my son on law he wears a size 13-14 its hard finding shoes for him the macy shoes only go to 13 ill be returning them once they send them back these sketchers fit beautifully he is so happy says they fit great thier soft n comfortable hes 6'4 260lb so if he says thier soft n comfortable then these are the ones .... Ill buy him another pair or 2 in fiff colors when u find something that works u stick with it great shoe ...

The last pair of PUMA's I owned was about 30 years ago. At the time, they seemed cheap and I didn't like them.

Fast forward to today and I like the way PUMA's look. I've been wanting these for a while and found them on sale recently. I'm glad I did.

I haven't the slightest idea how well these will wear, but I strongly disagree with those who say that they're uncomfortable. Believe me when I say that, because I'm all about comfort and I know how hard it can be to find comfortable shoes, that are still affordable, today. They're not a running shoe with a squishy sole, but they're still one of the more comfortable pairs of shoes that I own. The sole has far more cushion than a pair of Adidas Sambas I own, which I find extremely uncomfortable.

Of course they look nice too, but I'll wrap this up by describing the fit. They probably do run slightly narrow and short, but I think some of the reviews exaggerate how much. They're bigger than many shoes I own, including my Sambas. In fact, I'm between sizes and have no problem with the smaller size. The arch support doesn't seem like much, but it's more than adequate, because they're so comfortable. The cushioned soles do their part in the comfort of the shoe, too.

Overall, I'm very happy with this shoe and will probably be buying more pairs in the future.
